TODAY IS WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 2019 – DAY 4 EVEN



Attention all students: You can now get the Morning Announcements in Google Classroom. Go to your Google Classroom App and join the Google Class titled Morning Announcements. Use this code to join – ss4w7s4.



Best Buddies will meet right after school today in the Commons Room. All members are encouraged to attend. New members are always welcome. Please see an officer or advisor for more information.



The Spanish Club will be having a meeting right after school today in Room 2206. New members welcome!



The Fall Play “You Can’t Take It With You” will be performed tonight, tomorrow, Friday and Saturday nights, November 13th – 16th in the Auditorium at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased during the day or at the door. Do not miss this classic comedy on the South Side Stage.



Context will be meeting right after school on Thursday, November 14th in Room 2334. Context is also now taking submissions for its annual magazine. If you have any creative writing, art or photography, email contextsshs@gmial.com for a chance for your work to get into it.



If you are interested in trying out for the Gymnastics team, there will be a meeting on Thursday, November 14th at 3:45 PM.



There will be a Red Cross and Well Being Club meeting right after school on Thursday, November 14th in the Cafeteria. We have to take the Yearbook picture again so ALL MUST ATTEND. Our Bake Sale is Friday, November 15th, everyone must bake!



Attention Seniors: Any student applying to a college with a November 15th deadline MUST come to the Counseling Center ASAP.



For anyone interested in auditioning for Student Directed, there will be a brief meeting right after school on Friday, November 15th in the Auditorium to discuss the audition process.



This is a message from Mr. Walsh. To those of you who drive to school, please be respectful and courteous to our neighbors. You are expected to park and drive legally, and not to leave garbage behind in the neighborhood. If you do not park legally, the police can be notified. Thank you for your cooperation.



Attention Juniors & Seniors: Would you like to travel to Spain this April 8 – 15? Please attend the second and final meeting to register in person on Thursday, November 14th in the Commons Room. Email Sra/Madame Schneider if you would like to register through email. Juniors and Seniors only please.



The Community Education Office is now accepting applications for Winter ACE. It meets for 6 Saturday mornings beginning this January and pays $13.00 an hour. If you like working with younger kids, come down to the Community Education Office for an application in Room 1307. All applications are due by Friday, November 15th.



Help keep the RVC Community warm this winter! The ELL Club is collecting new or gently worn coats of any size. Simply go through your closets and bring your coats to Mrs. Tarquinio in Room 2307.



The GEMS Club will be recycling batteries and markers. Please bring any alkaline batteries that no long work and markers in to school this week. There are boxes in the Main Lobby. This project will continue all year.
